Rocket Careers Private Limited (hereinafter referred to as "roc8.careers”, “Roc8”, “Cactro” “RC” “Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) makes this website and related services, materials, tools, and projects available for your access and use subject to your compliance with these Terms of Use (TOU). Your obligations under this TOU include adherence to the Community Guidelines and any other supplemental terms applicable to specific projects, products, or services. 

By accessing or using the Website, you agree to comply fully with these TOU, the Privacy Policy, and other applicable guidelines. These Terms of Use, together with the Privacy Policy, form a binding and enforceable agreement between you (hereinafter referred to as “User,” “you,” or “your”) and Rocket Careers Private Limited.

“Site Materials” refers to the content, tools, products, services, projects, and activities made available or enabled through the Website. Any person accessing or using the Website, even without availing of any services, is presumed to have read, understood, and unconditionally accepted these Terms of Use.

This Website is intended only for users 18 years or older. If you are under 18, your parent or legal guardian must review and accept these TOU on your behalf. The Website and services are not meant for children under any circumstances.

Use of this Website is limited to individuals who can form a legally binding contract under the Indian Contract Act, 1872. Should any provision of these Terms be found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

The Company reserves the right to update, modify, or replace these Terms of Use without prior notice. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting on the Website. Continued use of the Website after such updates constitutes acceptance of the revised TOU.

Online Learning Environment

To maintain a productive and respectful online learning environment, users are required to:

  • Participate in the interviews, courses or training sessions with honesty, integrity, and commitment.

  • Refrain from cheating, plagiarism, or misuse of course materials. Violations will result in suspension or termination of access.

  • Respect fellow participants, instructors, and staff. Abusive, discriminatory, or disruptive behavior will not be tolerated.

  • Use platform features only for learning purposes as intended. Unauthorized use, reverse engineering, or data scraping is prohibited.

  • Avoid sharing login credentials, course links, or any proprietary content with unauthorized parties.

The Company reserves the right to monitor participation and remove users violating the Online Learning Environment standards.

Intellectual Property 

All course, content, creation, including but not limited to videos, lectures, presentations, assignments, projects, text, graphics, software, and supporting materials (collectively, “Course Materials”), remain the sole intellectual property of Rocket Careers Private Limited or its licensors.

Users agree that:

  • All Materials are provided for personal, non-commercial use only.

  • Unauthorized reproduction, distribution, modification, or public display of these Materials is strictly prohibited.

  • Users shall not sell, sublicense, or exploit Materials for commercial purposes or share them with unauthorized individuals.

Violating these terms may result in legal action, immediate suspension of access, and forfeiture of any rights granted under these Terms of Use.

Refund Policy

Refund policies vary based on the specific course, program, or service provided, if any. Users are encouraged to carefully read the terms outlined in the course guide or enrollment agreements provided prior to registration.

User Content and Representations

Any interactions or collaborations initiated through the Website are at the user's own risk.

All of your contributions and submissions to the site and any site projects or services must comply with the applicable policies and guidelines. The User further agrees that the Confidential Information will not be used by him/ her and his/ her representatives, in any way detrimental to the interests of Us.

Restrictions

You are specifically restricted from above mentioned particulars as well as from publishing any Website material in any other media; selling, sublicensing and/or otherwise commercializing any Website material; publicly performing and/or showing any Website material for commercial or promotional purposes; Using this Website in any way that is or may be damaging to this Website; Using this Website in any way that impacts user access to this Website; Using this Website contrary to applicable laws and regulations, or in any way may cause harm to the Website, or to any person or business entity; and Engaging in any data mining, data harvesting, data extracting or any other similar activity in relation to this Website.

Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid under any applicable law or declared invalid by a court of competent jurisdiction, such provisions shall be deleted without affecting the remaining provisions herein and the remaining terms and provisions of the TOU shall remain unimpaired and in full full force and effect.

This TOU may be amended, modified, changed or altered from time to time and we encourage you to read the TOU and other supplemental terms carefully before using our services on a regular basis.

Assignment

We are allowed to assign, transfer, and subcontract its rights and/or obligations under these Terms without any notification. However, you are not allowed to assign, transfer, or subcontract any of your rights and/or obligations under these Terms.

Termination

In the event we believe that You are not following the code of conduct or community guidelines of the Company, we have the sole discretion to ban you from the website and any of our other Services and platforms.

Registration Data

You agree to provide true, accurate, current and complete information about yourself as prompted by the site's registration form (the "Registration Data"). If we have reason to believe that you have failed to do so, we may suspend or terminate your account/seat, and refuse or terminate any current or future use of the site or any of our service.

We reserve the right in our sole discretion to remove site materials, modify, suspend or terminate the site (or any portion of it), and/or your use of or access, with or without notice.  Users are encouraged to review the Terms of Use periodically to stay informed. By continuing to use our services after updates are posted, users acknowledge their acceptance of the revised terms. We will not be liable to you or any third-party for any modification, suspension, or termination of the site.

Limitation of Liabilities

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Rocket Careers Private Limited, its directors, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for:

To the fullest extent permitted by law in each applicable jurisdiction, RC, its officers, directors, shareholders, employees, affiliates and/or agents shall not be liable to you for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, punitive, exemplary or consequential damages whatsoever, including any damages resulting from (1) errors, mistakes, or inaccuracies of or in any content; (2) any personal injury or property damage related to your use of our Services; (3) any unauthorized access to or use of our servers and/or any personal information and/or other information stored therein; (4) any interruption or cessation of transmission to or from the Services; (5) the use or display of any Content or User content posted, emailed, transmitted, or otherwise made available via the Services; (6) events beyond the reasonable control of RC, including any internet failures, equipment failures, electrical power failures, strikes, labor disputes, riots, insurrections, civil disturbances, shortages of labor or materials, fires, floods, storms, earthquakes, explosions, acts of God, war, terrorism, intergalactic struggles, governmental actions, orders of courts, agencies or tribunals or non-performance of third parties; and/or (7) loss of use, data, profits, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from the use or the inability to use any or all of our Services. You acknowledge and agree that these limitations of liability are agreed allocations of risk constituting in part the consideration for our services to you, and such limitations will apply even if We have been advised of the possibility of such liabilities. Indemnification

We shall not be held liable for any delay, failure, or disruption in services resulting from circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to:

  • Governmental orders, legal restrictions, or regulatory changes.

Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by Indian law. Disputes shall first be resolved through mutual negotiation. If unresolved, disputes will be referred to arbitration under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 with the seat of arbitration in New Delhi or Bangalore, India, as decided by the Company, and proceedings conducted in English.
The Users agree that any legal action or proceedings arising out of these Terms of Use or in connection with these Terms of Use may be brought EXCLUSIVELY in the competent courts/ tribunals having jurisdiction in New Delhi, India or Bangalore, India, as decided by the Company,  and the Users irrevocably submit themselves to the jurisdiction of such courts/ tribunals.

Grievance Redressal

We encourage you to refrain from going public with any dispute/complaints you have, without trying to resolve the dispute with Us in good faith. You shall send us a notice of conflict/dispute to our grievance redressal team by sending the notice to our registered email and the contact details of the Website, as detailed below. You shall wait for at-least 30-days for the acknowledgment and resolution of the dispute thereafter. If the complaint is not resolved to your satisfaction after contacting and working with RC, in good faith, you might take due course.

Miscellaneous

Nothing in this TOU is intended to, or shall be deemed to, constitute a partnership or joint venture of any kind between us, nor constitute the User as agent or employee of the Company for any purpose. This TOU shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, Indian law, and by using this website you are irrevocably submitting to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of India.
